What is the PureTrekker Portable Trail Shower?
A rechargeable pump that drops into any container of water — a jug, bucket, or dry bag — and pushes it out through a hose and shower head with real pressure. No plumbing, no hand-pumping.
How does it work?
Charge it, submerge the pump in any water container, then hit the power button. You can mount the shower head with the included suction-cup bracket for hands-free use, or just hold it.
What's in the box?
The rechargeable water pump, a 205cm PVC hose, a shower head with two spray modes, a USB charging cable, a suction-cup mounting bracket, a mesh storage bag, and an instruction booklet.
How long does the battery last?
2 hours of continuous use per full charge, depending on whether you're running it on the high or low flow setting.
How long does it take to charge?
About 3-4 hours for a full charge, using the included USB cable — you can charge it from a wall adapter, car charger, or power bank.
Is it waterproof?
The motor is fully sealed and epoxy-potted to prevent leaks, and the charging port has its own waterproof cover. It's built to sit submerged in your water container while it runs.
Can I use warm water?
Yes — the pump moves whatever temperature water you put it in, but it doesn't heat water itself. Fill your container with warm water beforehand if you want a warm rinse.
Can I use it with salt water?
Yes, but we recommend rinsing the pump with clean, fresh water after use in salt water, silty rivers, or muddy sources to keep it running smoothly long-term.
What size container do I need?
Any open container works — a jug, bucket, collapsible bag, cooler, or even a lake or stream. There's no fixed tank size, so use whatever you're already bringing. But make sure the pump can fit in that container.
What are the two shower head modes?
A button on the shower head switches between a wider massage-style spray and a more focused rainfall mode — 290 silicone nozzle points either way.
Does it come with a mount?
Yes — a suction-cup bracket is included so you can stick the shower head to glass, tile, or metal and rinse hands-free.
How much does it weigh, and how big is it packed?
The pump itself weighs about 650g (1.4 lb). Packed up, everything fits in a mesh bag. It won't take too much space in your backpack or your car.
Is it loud?
It does make sound, but no — it's designed to run privately so that it won't announce itself across a quiet campsite.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, along with Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, through Shopify Payments.
Can I change or cancel my order?
You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund. After that, your order may have already entered processing, and we may not be able to guarantee a change or cancellation — email us at hello@puretrekker.com as soon as possible, and we'll do what we can.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to the United States, Canada, and Australia.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days, then typically arrive within 6-7 business days after that — so plan for about 7-10 business days total from order to delivery.
Is shipping free?
Shipping is a flat $5 fee. Orders over $160 ship free.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll get an email with a tracking number so you can follow it the whole way.
What if my order is delayed?
Occasionally, shipments run into weather, customs, or carrier delays outside our control. If you're concerned about a delay, reach out to hello@puretrekker.com, and we'll look into it.
Returns and Refunds
What's your return policy?
You have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.
How do I start a return?
Email hello@puretrekker.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll confirm approval and send return instructions — please wait for that confirmation before shipping anything back.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take a few extra days to post it.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
No — we cover the cost of return shipping on eligible returns.
My item arrived damaged or defective — what do I do?
Email hello@puretrekker.com right away with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll sort it out — this is handled separately from a standard return.
Warranty and Support
Does this come with a warranty?
We don't offer a formal warranty, but if something goes wrong with your pump within 12 months of your order, we'll send you one free replacement per order. Email hello@puretrekker.com with your order number and a description of the issue, and we'll take care of it.
